THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.20401 of 2009 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed aggrieved by the enhancement of the licence fee effected under G.O.Ms.No.604 dated 15.06.2009 and to maintain the licence fee for the petitioner's Form-2B licence on par with the licence fee as prescribed and paid by the petitioner during the excise year 2008-2009.

This Court was however not inclined to grant the relief sought by the petitioner and accordingly permitted it to pay the enhanced licence fee in two monthly installments. It is now stated that the enhanced licence fee was accordingly paid and that the licence fee structure underwent further modifications thereafter. In that view of the matter, the cause in this writ petition does not survive for consideration on merits at this late stage. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
