Heard counsel for the petitioner, the Government Pleader for Medical & Health appearing for respondents 1, 2 & 5, and Sri G.Bala Rangaiah, Standing Counsel for respondents 3 & 4.

2. Petitioner's grievance is that he had submitted a representation on 23.02.2016 to the 2nd respondent seeking extension of the contract, granted to him for sanitation work, invoking G.O.Ms.No.159 dt.31.12.2015, and the 2nd respondent has not considered the same till date.

3. The Government Pleader for Medical & Health states that the 2nd respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner dt.23.02.2016 within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and will communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner.

4. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dt.23.02.2016, in accordance with law, within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.

5. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
