THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.AMARNATH GOUD M.A.C.M.A. NO.139 OF 2014 ORDER:

This appeal is preferred by the appellant/respondent No.3 insurance company questioning the judgment of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal-cum- VIII Additional District Judge (FTC), Guntur (for short, Tribunal) in M.V.O.P.No.1233 of 2007 dated 05-11-2009, on the ground that the Tribunal erred in fixing the liability of the appellant and the compensation awarded is excessive.

2.

Heard Mr.U.Prasada Rao, appearing on behalf of Mr.Kota Subba Rao, learned counsel for the appellant New India insurance company i.e., respondent No.3 in the M.V.O.P., before the Tribunal. 3.

The Tribunal has passed a well considered order and though compensation is claimed at Rs.2,00,000/-, the Tribunal has awarded Rs.1,80,500/-. Since the compensation awarded is quite reasonable, the said order needs no interference. 4.

Accordingly, the Motor Accident Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
