This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 2nd respondent in seizing the vehicle of the petitioner bearing No.AP 29T CO 374, Goods Carriage LMV.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home basing on the written instructions dt.23.07.2019, submits that the subject vehicle was seized by the respondent police as the same is involved in Crime No.84/2019, registered under Sections 188, 270, 273 and 420 IPC & Sec.20(2) of the Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Act, on the file of Ibrahimpatnam Police Station on 14.03.2019; and that the same is produced before the concerned Magistrate on 21.05.2019. In view of the aforesaid submissions, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make necessary application for release of the same before the concerned Court where the subject vehicle is produced. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
