Heard the learned counsel for petitioner-A1 and also heard Sri P.Dharmesh, Special Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

Undisputedly, more than half of the trial is completed as submitted by the learned Special Public Prosecutor of eight, out of sixteen, witnesses were already examined and the remaining witnesses are going to be examined soon and the case is posted to 13.06.2018 for further trial as part-heard. 3.

Having regard to the above, there is nothing in this Criminal Petition to go into merits of the case or to make out any case under Section 37 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, amended Act 9 of 2001, but for to direct the trial Court for early disposal, pursuant to mandate of the Supreme Court in Thana Singh v. Central Bureau of Narcotics1, preferably within three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
