HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.3220 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., the petitioners/A1 and A2 seek to quash the FIR in Cr.No.439 of 2012 of Central Crime Station, Hyderabad, which was registered against them for the offence under Section 498A IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 25.03.2017 of Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Central Crime Station, Hyderabad and submitted that the case was referred as Action Drop and final report was filed before XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate on 25.07.2014 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the FIR in Cr.No.439 of 2012 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

3) There is no representation for petitioners.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
