CVNR, J WP 13636/2007 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed with the grievance that respondent No.5 has not been enhancing the age of superannuation from 60 to 62 years in favour of the University Teachers, like the petitioners. At the hearing, there is no representation for the petitioners. A perusal of the record shows that when the writ petition was filed in the year 2007 the age of the petitioners was 59 years, which means that with the efflux of time they have crossed the age of 62 years. In view of this fact, the petitioners are not entitled to any relief at this stage. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed.

As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, W.P.M.P. No.17100 of 2007 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
