P/RKP/63/98/1638 dated 01-07-1998 redesignating the petitioners as General Mazdoor Underground instead of General Mazdoor Category - I as illegal, unjust, contrary to law, arbitrary, in violation of principles of natural justice, unfair labour practice and also in violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and to pass such other or further order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."
2. At the hearing, Sri A.K.Jayaprakash Rao, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that, in view of the events that have transpired subsequent to the filing of this Writ Petition, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.
3. In view of the above submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
4. As a sequel to dismissal of the Writ Petition, W.P.M.P.No. 32824 of 2000 shall stand dismissed as infructuous.
