Petitioner claims to be the owner and possessor of various shops in Harihara Complex situated in Ward No.

15, Ganugapalem, Ongole Municipal Corporation, having purchased the same from the original allottees. His grievance is that the respondent authorities have not been mutating his name in the municipal records and insisting him to pay the property tax in the name of the old assesses. Though the petitioner submitted representations in this regard, the respondent authorities have not taken any action thereon. Hence, the Writ Petition. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Sri Ancha Pandu Ranga Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Respondents 2 and 3.

The case of the petitioner being simple, without going into the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondent authorities under relevant Rules. The petitioner shall set out, in detail, as to how and in what manner, he had acquired right and title with respect to the subject property, with necessary documents, in the Application to be made in the prescribed form, if any and also by paying the necessary fees as applicable. As and when such an Application is made, within six weeks thereafter, the respondent authorities are directed to consider and pass appropriate orders thereon.

The Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
