HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 20145 of 2016 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Government Pleader for Home.

The present writ petition came to be filed with the following prayer:

"Issue writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not taking action on the complaint made by the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India; and consequently direct the respondents police to take action by considering the petitioner's complaint forthwith."

At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that basing on the report lodged by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.234 of 2016 of Kurnool IV Town Police Station came to be registered against the accused. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication and the same is accordingly, closed. No order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
