THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.10597 of 2012 ORDER:

The petitioner claims to be in possession of part of land described as Plot No.39/6, situated at Ganganammapet, Tenali Town, for the last thirty years. He states that his father raised a hut in the said land and lived there with his family till his death. A house site patta was granted in November, 1985, and he has been in possession of the same. When he came to know that the first respondent issued a notice on 25.02.2012 proposing to auction all leasehold rights in respect of different properties including the said land, he filed the present Writ Petition.

This Court, by order dated 16.04.2012, granted status quo in respect of item No.3 of the notice dated 25.02.2012. A reading of the notice for open auction dated 25.02.2012 shows that the land was proposed to be given on lease for a period of three years on a monthly rent basis and the said period of three years had already elapsed. In view of the same, nothing survives for consideration in the Writ Petition.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
