This writ petition is filed challenging the inaction of the respondents on the representation submitted by the petitioner to disburse the death benefits of her son. The petitioner is claiming death benefits of one K.Ravi Kumar, who worked as Helper Grade-I in the respondentorganization. Since the matter pertains to service benefits of an employee of railway department, which is governed by the Central Government, the petitioner has to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
