This writ petition is filed challenging the action of respondents 3 and 4 in not registering a case against the unofficial respondents 5 to 8 basing on the complaint of the petitioner dt.08.01.2019. Learned Counsel for the petitioner states that though the petitioner gave complaint on 18.03.2019, the respondent police, deliberately, have not registered the same.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions dated 22.07.2019 furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Osmania University Police Station, Hyderabad City, wherein it is stated that basing on the complaints given by the petitioner's mother against the petitioner on 09.10.2018, 05.01.2019 and 02.04.2019, a case in Crime No.124/2019, under Sections 323, 341, 452, 506 IPC & Sec.24 of Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, was filed against the petitioner; that during the course of investigation the accused/petitioner was sent to judicial remand on 08.04.2019; and that after releasing on bail, the accused/petitioner again created nuisance at the photo studio of their parents, abused them and beat them with hands and water bottle; and that basing on the same a case was registered in Crime No.181/2019 against the petitioner under Section 323, 452, 506 IPC of Osmania University Police Station on 14.05.2019. He further submits that
during investigation of the above two cases it was disclosed that the wife of the petitioner was living with her parents since 05.10.2018 as she was carrying pregnancy and that the petitioner has wantonly gave a dowry harassment complaint against his parents with an intention to get property from them; and as such no action was taken on the complaint of the petitioner and a notice was served to the petitioner through registered post on 23.07.2019 informing that the complaint given by him pertaining to property issue and the allegations leveled by him are totally baseless, as such no action can be taken on his complaint.
Recording the aforesaid written instructions the writ petition is disposed of placing the said written instructions on record. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
