HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION Nos 14031 and 15191 of 2019 COMMON ORDER:

These writ petitions are filed aggrieved by action of respondent-police in interfering with the civil disputes of petitioners respectively in respect of subject land and forcing them to settle the same with unofficial respondents respectively.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions in both cases denying the allegations made against respondent-police. It is stated that basing on the complaints, four crimes have been registered in Cr.Nos 376 and 377/2018 and Cr.Nos 104 and 120/2019 in respect of subject land. Except investigating into the offences, the respondent-police are not interfering with the civil disputes between the petitioners and unofficial respondents. But the complaint in both writ petitions is that respondent-police are interfering with the civil disputes and calling the petitioners to police station. In the written instructions, it is disputed that respondent-police are interfering with the civil disputes and calling the petitioners to police station except investigating into the offences. In view of the same, the writ petitions are disposed of directing the respondent-police not to interfere with the civil disputes between the parties and not to pressurize the parties to settle the civil disputes. However, this order will not

preclude the respondent-police from investigating into crimes in accordance with law. As a sequel to the disposal of these petitions, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
