THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 13467 of 2015 ORDER:

Questioning the action of the 2nd respondent-Joint Collector in not disposing of the revision filed by the petitioners, this writ petition is filed.

2. The case of the petitioners, in brief, is that they are heirs of one Thumma Francis Reddy, who was the original pattadar and possessor of lands over a total extent of Ac.26-31 guntas in Survey No.276 of Gummadidala village, Jinnaram mandal, Medak district; and that respondents 5 to 7 and the husband of 8th respondent were the tenants of Thumma Francis Reddy and on an oral lease, the said respondents used to cultivate the lands and pay 50% of the yield every year. While so, in the year 2013, when the said respondents evaded payment of the orally agreed crop yield, the petitioners verified the revenue records and came to know that respondents 5 to 7 and the husband of 8th respondent have fraudulently got their names mutated in the revenue records.

The petitioners, while asserting their right and setting out the facts, filed a revision before the 2nd respondent in the year 2013 seeking to set aside the mutation proceedings issued by the 4th respondent in favour of the respondents 5 to 7 and the husband of the 8th respondent, but the 2nd respondent has not yet disposed of the revision.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader.

4. In the circumstances, the writ petition can be disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the revision filed by the petitioners, in

accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from today.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. ____________________________ CHALLA KODANDA RAM, J 30th April, 2015 ksm
