When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader appearing for respondents informed the Court that the petitioner is seeking conduct of Elections during 2011 and at this point of time, the cause in the writ petition no longer survives for adjudication and has become infructuous.

Recording the above said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
