O R D E R

The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: 'This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd Respondent police personnel in pressurizing the Petitioner and his Family Members to pay Rs.1,50,000/ - to the Un-official Respondent without any legal cause as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Articles 19, 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 3rd Respondent to forbear from interfering with the Civil Disputes and not to pressurize the Petitioner and his Family Members to pay Rs.1,50,000/- to the un-official Respondent and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.'

The Sub-Inspector of Police, Tadimarri Police Station, Ananthapur District, furnished written instructions dated 21.03.2016 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home stating that no complaint had been registered against the petitioner and the question of interfering with the petitioner's personal matter therefore did not arise. The constable was also stated to be in training on 09.03.2016, thereby disproving the allegations leveled by the petitioner.

The aforestated stand of the police authorities is taken on record. In the light thereof, no adjudication is warranted on merits in this case. Sri O.Udaya Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, is also agreeable to closure of the case recording the stand of the police authorities.

The writ petition is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall also stand closed. No order as to costs. ______________________ SANJAY KUMAR, J
