Order:

This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly, one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not permitting the petitioners to appear for the examination in the subject of Pharmacology in II year B.D.S.Course and issuing the impugned letter No.1327/E3/BDS/2008, dated 21.7.2008, as arbitrary, illegal and in violation of the well settled principles of natural justice."

At the hearing, Mr.A.Prabhakar Rao, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.1- University, submitted that as the academic course of the petitioners has been completed, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication. The Counsel for the petitioners is not present to oppose this submission.

In the light of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.1- University, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
