HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.28734 of 2017 ORDER:

The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of respondent No.3, in not investigating into Crime No.78 of 2017 dated 18.06.2017 pending on the file of Tenali I Town Police Station, Guntur District, as being illegal and arbitrary, Learned Government Pleader for Home (AP), on instructions from the Station House Officer, Tenali I Town Police Station, Guntur District, would submit that investigation is in progress; investigation would be completed within two weeks; and a final report would be filed before the competent Court.

Recording the submission of learned Government Pleader for Home (AP) that investigation would be completed within two weeks, the writ petition is closed. However, it is made clear that the Investigating Officer shall complete investigation and file charge sheet before competent Court not exceeding four weeks.
