UMA DEVI Writ Appeal No. 731 of 2018 and Writ Petition No.12934 of 2018 Common Judgment: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) Learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the appellants, Sri K. Lakshman, learned Assistant Solicitor General, and Sri Sivaraju Srinivas, learned counsel for the 1st respondent-writ petitioner, agree that, in the light of the subsequent order in revision passed by the Government of India on 12.6.2018, the cause in this Writ Appeal and in W.P. No. 12934 of 2018 do not survive.
Sri Sivaraju Srinivas, learned counsel for the 1st respondentwrit petitioner, would submit that the 1st respondent-writ petitioner has subsequently filed W.P. No. 20727 of 2018 questioning the validity of the order in revision. As learned counsel on either side are in agreement, both W.A. No.731 of 2018 and W.P. No. 12934 of 2018 are dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No costs.
