HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.10286 OF 2016 ORDER:

The case of the petitioner is that he filed a revision before the 2nd respondent-The Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Nampally, Hyderabad, under Section 4 (B) of the A.P.Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977, on 02.03.2016 along with stay application, against the order dated 21.11.2015 passed by the 3rd respondent in the appeal vide D.Dis.3088/2008/E1. But, no orders are passed in the stay petition and the respondent authorities are trying to evict the petitioner. Aggrieved by the same present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

Since statutory revision under Section 4 (B) of the A.P.Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977 is pending before the 2nd respondent, I deem it proper and appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the stay application filed by the petitioner, within a period of eight (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then, Status Quo, obtaining as on today shall be maintained by both the parties.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
