Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to avail alternative remedy and a letter dated 09.10.2017 is filed to that effect before the Registry. Permission is accorded and, accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting liberty to the petitioner to avail the alternative remedy available to him under law. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions pending in this Writ Petition, if any, shall stand closed.
