THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.12974 OF 2018 ORDER:

The grievance of the writ petitioners is in respect of non-registration of a crime based on the representation, dated 23.02.2018, lodged by the petitioners with the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad.

I have heard the submissions of Sri V.Raghunath, learned counsel for the petitioners, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (TG), appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. I have perused the material record.

At the hearing, learned Government Pleader, on written instructions, dated 16.04.2018, a copy of which is placed on record, would submit that a case in Crime No.312 of 2018 was registered on 14.04.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 3(1)(r)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and that the investigation is taken up into the said crime.

In view of the said submission, and as no further cause survives for adjudication, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
