THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No. 15381 OF 2019 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondents 2 to 6 in not providing protection to the petitioner against the respondents 7 to 17 and their associates, by taking necessary action against them. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home states that without giving any complaint, petitioner cannot ask for police protection. Learned Counsel for the petitioner by referring to para 7 of the writ affidavit submits that the petitioner approached the 5th respondent and requested to provide police protection, orally, but no action has been taken. He further states that the petitioner will make necessary application before the 5th respondent.

In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is open for the petitioner to make necessary application before the 5th respondent and on such application being made, the 5th respondent is directed to take appropriate action, in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
