Petitioner joined service as Driver in the year 1998. On 11.10.2013, petitioner was declared as unfit to work as Driver. Petitioner was provided alternative employment in the post of Shramic. Expressing his inability to take the heavy work load of the post of Shramic on 26.12.2016, petitioner submitted representation to permit him to take voluntary retirement from service. Alleging inaction, this Writ Petition is filed.

Since petitioner claims that no orders are passed on the representation, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 26.12.2016, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
