HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No.33681 of 2015 Order:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the respondents in not issuing the appointment orders to the post of Junior Lineman pursuant to the call letter dated 31.03.2012 and, this Court by an order dated 12.10.2015 while admitting the Writ Petition directed the respondents to examine and consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 07.06.2012 and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks.

The representation dated 07.06.2012 is for issuance of an appointment order pursuant to the interview conducted on 20.04.2012. Learned counsel for the respondents produced before this Court an order passed in Lr.No.SE/O/GNT/PO(Admn.)/C3/D.No.1844/15 dated 13.11.2015 by the Superintending Engineer, Operation Circle, Guntur addressed to the petitioner, in compliance with the interim orders of this Court dated 12.10.2015, stating that the petitioner was not selected as he has not acquired the required percentage of marks as per merit as he got only 57.85% and cut off mark for OC local candidate is 64.31. 3.

In view of the same, nothing survives for consideration in the present Writ Petition and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved he can challenge the letter dated 13.11.2015 in appropriate proceedings. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
