The grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of the fact that the petitioner had given a complaint on 28-06-2016. In stead of taking action on the complaint of the petitioner, the concerned SubInspector of Police, Koyyalagudem, West Godavari District, has been calling the petitioner to the Police Station and threatening the petitioner and further had also taken a bind over agreement. Complaining about the conduct of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Koyyalagudem, petitioner had made an application on 19-06-2017. The petitioner seeks a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police as well as to the Superintendent of Police to take action on the complaint of the petitioner dated 19-06-2017. 2.

Heard the learned Government Pleader.

This is a case where the complaint is being made against the Sub-Inspector of Police, Koyyalagudem Police Station. 4.

In that view of the matter, it would not come as a case of making a complaint of committing any offence. However, this is more of administrative case in nature, where with respect to a subordinate, a complaint is being lodged by the petitioner. 4.

In that view of the matter, the Superintendent of Police being the District Head of the Organization is required to conduct a preliminary enquiry and if the allegations made by the petitioner are found to be true, necessary action shall be taken in accordance with law.

In that process, it is made clear that the petitioner shall be intimated on the action taken with respect to the complaint made by him to the Sub-Inspector of Police, Koyyalagudem Police Station, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Subject to the above observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of and as a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No costs.
