HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION NO. 779 OF 2015 ORDER:

At the admission stage, the following order is passed. Having regard to the prima facie material in the FIR for the allegations under Section 498-A IPC, and as the matter is stated to be in the nascent stage of Investigation, this is not a fit case to quash the proceedings. However, considering the fact that some of the petitioners/A2 to A6 are women and petitioner/A4 is a student and A3 is an Auto Driver and their arrest during the course of Investigation will cause any amount of hardship to them, the Police of Women Police Station, Rajahmundry Urban, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, are directed not to arrest the petitionrs/A2 to A6 during the course of Investigation. Petitioners are directed to cooperate with the Investigating Agency for smooth completion of Investigation.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
