HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT W.P.No.14069 of 2015 PC: (Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this writ petition and seeks liberty to the petitioner to make a representation to the authority concerned for seeking either exemption of house tax or reduction of the tax, he being an ex-serviceman. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that if any such representation is made, the 3rd respondent shall consider the same sympathetically. Having considered the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties, we are satisfied that the following order would meet the ends of justice: i.

petitioner to make a representation, as aforementioned, to respondent No.3 within a period of four weeks from today; ii.

if any such representation is made, respondent No.3 shall consider the same sympathetically within a period of six months thereafter; and iii.

till then, the tax, as demanded, from the petitioner shall not be recovered.

Writ petition is disposed of as not pressed.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, also stand disposed of.
