Heard. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, this Writ Petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission. 2.

The petitioner was appointed as Conductor on 22.01.2014 on compassionate grounds after death of her husband. She alleges that since 03.05.2016 she was suffering with neurological problem and became sick, she is unable to discharge her regular duty as Conductor. The petitioner went to the respondent - Corporation hospital in Tarnaka and on examination, she was referred to NIMS Hospital at Hyderabad on 29.08.2016 and on examination, the NIMS authorities advised to allot ground work/light duty and also to continue the treatment. On 14.07.2016, the petitioner made a representation to allot light duty, but till date no such duty is allotted. The petitioner alleges that she is forced to attend to duties even though she is suffering from neurological problem and she apprehends that it may result adverse consequences.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Corporation, on instructions, submits that when earlier Sick Extended Certificate was issued to the petitioner, she was informed that her next review was on 06.02.2017 and directed to attend the review. He further submits that the petitioner attended before the Medical Officer of the respondent - Corporation hospital at Tarnaka and admitted in the hospital for further examination. He further submits that after thoroughly undertaking medical

examination, appropriate decision would be taken by the respondent - Corporation.

Having regard to the medical condition of the petitioner and the submissions made by Sri B. Mayur Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent - Corporation, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondent - Corporation to assess the medical status of the petitioner and if it is found that the present health condition does not permit the petitioner to undertake the responsibility as Conductor, may suitably accommodate in any other post or light duty/ground duty. The health assessment shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and based on medical report, appropriate decision be taken with regard to assignment of light duty/ground duty within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
