THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C.V. NAGARJUNA REDDY CONTEMPT CASE NO.1492 OF 2015 DATED:12-02-2016 Between:
Karri Koteswara Rao ... Petitioner And G.D. Aruna Secretary Tribal Welfare Department State of Telangana Secretariat Buildings Hyderabad ... Respondent COUNSEL FOR THE PETITIONER: None appeared COUNSEL FOR THE RESPONDENTS: A.G.P. for Tribal Welfare (TS)
THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER:
This contempt case is filed alleging wilful disobedience or order dt.3.1.2012 in W.P. No.75 of 2012 whereby this Court has directed the respondent to dispose of the revision petition filed by the petitioner after giving an opportunity of being heard, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the order. Alleging that the revision petition has not been disposed of, the petitioner filed this contempt case.
At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner is not present. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare (TS), on instructions, submitted that the revision petition was posted for hearing on 28.11.2015, that at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner the case was adjourned to 06.02.2016 and on that date, a message was received by the respondent that the petitioner's father is in serious condition and he has requested for an adjournment and that accordingly the case has been posted to 19.03.2016. As the counsel for the petitioner is not present, these submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader remained uncontroverted. As the petitioner himself appears to be requesting for adjournments, he cannot complain of non-disposal of the revision petition. Hence, the contempt case is dismissed.
