Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies for the respondents. 2.

The notification bearing No.F/376/2018, dated 17.02.2018, issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), inviting applications for filling up the vacancy of Fair Price Shop authorization, at Pakala Village, Singarayakonda Mandal, Prakasam District, is under challenge in the present Writ Petition.

The RDO, Kandukur, issued the impugned notification earmarking subject Fair Price Shop for BC-D category. The case of the petitioner in the present Writ Petition is that he belongs to BC-A group and earlier the subject Fair Price Shop was reserved for BC-A category; that almost all the card holder attached to the subject Fair Price Shop belong to BC-A category only. It is further submitted that in view of the impugned action, the petitioner herein and the similarly situated candidates belonging to BC-A category would lose the opportunity of consideration for the appointment as the Fair Price Shop authorization.

On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that pursuant to the orders of this Court, the respondent authorities fixed a roster of 100 points by taking into account the revenue division as a unit. It is further submitted by the learned

AVSS, J W.P.No. 13028 of 2018 Government Pleader that there is no statutory violation in the impugned order and the authorities proceeded with the matter strictly in accordance with law. It is further submitted by the learned Government Pleader that pursuant to the impugned notification, the RDO issued order vide proceedings RCF/376/2018, dated 18.04.2018, appointing one Sri Narra Venkata Sagar as Fair Price Shop dealer for the subject Fair Price Shop. 5.

Since the respondent authorities strictly adhered to the roster point prepared, pursuant to the order of this Court, this Court does not find any merit in the present Writ Petition and the contentions advanced on behalf of the petitioner herein are therefore liable to be rejected.

For the aforesaid reasons, the Writ Petition is dismissed. 7.
