The Court made the following:
ORDER:
The petitioner is a Field Assistant. He was removed from service vide proceedings, dated 27.07.2015. Aggrieved by the order of removal, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the appellate authority, i.e., Commissioner of Rural Development, Hyderabad (2nd respondent) on 22.08.2015. Alleging that the appeal is not disposed of, this writ petition is filed.
2. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel agreed for disposal of the writ petition with a direction to dispose of the appeal pending before the appellate authority.
3. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner availed the remedy of appeal and the said appeal is pending consideration, without expressing any
opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the appellate authority (2nd respondent) to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner on 22.08.2015 and pass appropriate orders, as warranted by law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
