HONOURABLE Dr. JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO Crl.P.M.P No.8512 of 2015 IN/ AND Crl.P. No.8367 of 2015 COMMON ORDER :
This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/ accused Nos.1 to 6 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings of Crime No.440 of 2012 of Langer House Police Station, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A IPC, 420 and 506 IPC and Sections 4 & 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act, which is outcome of the report of 2nd respondent-de facto complainant, no other than wife of accused No.1, accused Nos.2 and 3 are parents of accused No.1 and accused Nos.4 to 6 are the distant neighbours.
2) Pending disposal of the Criminal Petition, the 2nd respondent-de facto complainant, petitioners/ accused Nos.1 to 6 are present and filed a joint memo in Crl.P.M.P. No.8512 of 2015 with memorandum of compromise and affidavit of de facto complainant stating that they have settled the mater outside of the Court at the intervention of elders and thereby, sought for permission to compound the offences.

4) Having regard to the above, though the offences under Sections 4 & 6 of D.P. Act are not compoundable
under Section 320 Cr.P.C, to sub-serve the ends of justice by invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C, permission is accorded. Accordingly, the Crl.P.M.P. No.8512 of 2015 is ordered and the offences under Sections 498-A, 420 and 506 IPC and Sections 4 & 6 of D.P Act, are compounded.
5) Consequently, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to Crime No.440 of 2015 of Langer House Police Station, Hyderabad, is quashed. The bail bonds of the petitioners/ accused, if any, shall stand cancelled.
6) Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
