THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.4473 OF 2018 ORDER:

This criminal petition, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C'), is filed by the petitioners/A.1 to 4 to quash the proceedings in C.C. No.237 of 2017 on the file of XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, Ranga Reddy.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing the matter for sometime, requested this Court to direct the learned Magistrate to follow the guidelines formulated by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma v. State of U.P.1.

Acceding to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner, without touching the merits, I find that it is a fit case to issue direction to the learned Magistrate to follow the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Rajesh Sharma case (referred supra). With the above direction, the criminal petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
