THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.35163 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India is filed seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the 4th respondent in foisting false cases against the petitioner under the influence of 3rd and 5th respondent and in attempting to open a rowdy sheet effecting the personal life and liberty of the petitioner as arbitrary and illegal. Though several allegations are levelled against the respondents in the writ petition, today, the learned Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submitted that the respondents-police never interfered with the personal life and liberty of the petitioner and that they are not harassing the petitioner and so far, no case has been registered. In view of the said submission, no orders are necessary in this writ petition. Hence, recording the above submission of the learned Government Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
