THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.AMARNATH GOUD CONTEMPT CASE NO.1944 of 2015 ORDER: (per SK,J) This contempt case was instituted alleging wilful disobedience to the order dated 23.03.2015 passed by this Court in P.I.L.No.70 of 2015. By the said order, the District Collector, East Godavari District, and the Zilla Parishad of the said district were directed to take action jointly for removal of the illegal encroachments made by blocking drains and a portion of the road, if any, and also to remove the statue from the road. Sri Ravi Cheemalapati, learned counsel appearing for the Zilla Parishad, and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, would inform this Court that the aforestated order has been duly complied with and encroachments have been removed. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would further state that a public hearing was also conducted in this regard. As per the information furnished to this Court earlier, the statue has already been removed. Sri V.V.Ramana, learned counsel for the petitioner, does not dispute these facts.

In that view of the matter, the contempt case is closed. No order as to costs.
