THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR CRIMINAL PETITION No.1756 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.

2. The present Criminal Petition came to be filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking release on bail in the event of his arrest in unregistered crime going to be registered in the Nandyal Police Station, Kurnool District, for the offences punishable under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner is not even able to say the nature of allegations, for which a crime is going to be registered against the petitioner. He only pleads that some signatures on blank papers were obtained and that the same are likely to be used to extract money from him for the purpose of party fund for a particular political party. He further states that as he has not paid the amount towards party fund, a false case may be registered against him.

4. In a situation of this nature, where the petitioner is not sure as to the nature of allegations to be made and the offences for which the crime is going to be registered, the request of the petitioner cannot be considered.
