HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO Writ Petition No.565 of 2017 O R D E R :

The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a writ or order, more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondent office to consider the representations dated 30-12-2016 and 02-01-2017 given by the petitioners before executing the orders of this Court vide orders passed in W.P.No.44417 of 2016, dated 20-12-2016.

The brief facts of the case are that the 4th respondent herein obtained an order from the Court directing the present respondent to provide police protection on the basis of the representation made by the 4th respondent, if the office is so desired. Taking advantage of the same, the 4th respondent herein entered into the premises of the 2nd petitioner herein along with police officials and thereafter she damaged the video cameras fixed in that house in order to screen her illegal acts of abusing and physical assaulting. Aggrieved over the same, representations are given by the petitioners. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home and perused the material available on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions :

The earlier direction of this Court in W.P.No.44417 of 2016 is only to the extent of the representation made by the 4th respondent herein and if there is any representation from the other party, it is also the duty of the officials concerned to consider the same and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending in this petition, if any, shall stand closed.
