HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.937 OF 2017 ORDER:

This contempt case is filed alleging violation of the order in W.P.M.P.No.25073 of 2016 in W.P.No.20436 of 2016, dated 22.07.2016, whereunder this Court directed the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for his promotion as Assistant Divisional Engineer, if he is otherwise eligible, pending disposal of the writ petition. It is now brought to the notice of this Court that at the time of passing the order, the petitioner was involved in ACB case and though he was empanelled subject to the result of the ACB case, his case was not considered since he was under suspension with effect from 21.04.2017 in another ACB trap case.

Since the main writ petition is pending, in view of the above circumstances, no further proceedings are warranted in the present contempt case.

The contempt case is accordingly closed.
