ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not supplying the essential commodities to the petitioner's fair price shop No.25, old Bowenpally village, Balanagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, though his authorization is valid upto 31-3-2013 as illegal and arbitrary.
At the hearing, Counsel for the petitioner is not present. The learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (TS) submitted that the supply of essential commodities was stopped to the petitioner's fair price shop on the ground of initiation of proceedings under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955; that in pursuance of the interim direction granted on 28-2-2012, supplies were resumed and that subsequently, proceedings under Section 6-A of the Act were concluded on 22-2-2014. He has therefore submitted that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication. In view of the above submissions of the learned Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
As a sequel to the dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.6626 of 2012 is disposed of.
