THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No.4744 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioners-A2 and A4 to A11 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.29 of 2017 on the file of the VIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad, Rajendranagar, wherein cognizance was taken for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. 2.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State and perused the record.

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that charges are not yet framed. In such event, the petitioners can move an application under relevant provision for their discharge. On filing such an application, the Court below may dispose of the same on merits in accordance with law.

With the above observation, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this petition shall stand closed.
