THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.4246 OF 2004 ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the orders of the second respondent in Lr.No.2/2004, dated 20.01.2004, rejecting the applications of the petitioners on the plea of over age as arbitrary, illegal, discriminatory, contrary to the rules and case law, and violative of Articles 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the respondents to consider the cases of the petitioners for appointment to the posts of Teachers irrespective of the upper age as per the A.P.
Education Institutions (Establishment, Recognition, Administration and control of schools under Private Managements) Rules, 1993.
Learned counsel for the respondents is present. No representation is made on behalf of the petitioners on 13.04.2016. Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioners even though the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal'. It seems that the petitioners are not interested to prosecute the matter. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
