HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 16622 of 2017 ORDER:

1) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, declaring the action of the third respondent in not receiving the complaint lodged by petitioner on 03.07.2015 and not registering a crime basing on the complaint and not investigating into the matter is illegal and arbitrary; and consequently direct the third respondent to receive the complaint.

2) At the time, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Home (AP) on instructions submits that pursuant to the report given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.103 of 2017 of Pattabhipuram Police Station came to be registered and the police are investigating into the matter. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

3) Having regard to the above, the writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. _________________________ JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR 12.06.2017 gkv
