THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI A.S. Nos.563 and 1497 of 1999 COMMON JUDGMENT:

As there was no representation for the appellants as well as the contesting respondents in both the appeal suits, on 31.01.2018, this Court directed the appeal suits to be posted on 16.02.2018. On that day also, there was no representation for the appellants in both the appeal suits, but the learned counsel for the contesting respondents was present. Therefore, this Court directed the Registry to post both the appeal suits today under the caption "for dismissal". Today, though the appeal suits are listed under the said caption, yet again, there is no representation for the appellants in both the appeal suits.

The above conduct of the appellants in both the appeal suits indicates that they are not interested in prosecuting the appeal suits.

In the result, the appeal suits are dismissed for default. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall also stand dismissed.
