This petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings against the petitioners/accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No.231 of 2016 on the file of the Station House Officer, Adilabad I Town Police Station, registered for the offence punishable under Section 420 IPC.

At the time of hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the parties have settled the matter before the Lok Adalat on 25.1.2017. In view of the submission made by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor, the subject matter of the criminal petition has become infructuous. 3.

Hence, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
