ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that during pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner had expired and therefore, the question of granting relief of reinstatement does not arise. He further submits that the petitioner is entitled to the benefits for the service rendered by him prior to the date of removal. Having regard to the said submission, if the deceased petitioner has not received the benefits for the service rendered by him prior to the date of removal, the respondentCorporation is directed to pay the said benefits to his legal representatives, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
