THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.15560 of 2019 ORDER:

Learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleaders appearing for respondents submit that the issue raised in this writ petition is squarely covered by the order of this Court in W.P.No.20726 of 2010 dated 29.12.2016. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the Superintendent-Regional Eye Hospital-3rd respondent submitted proposals to the Director, Medical Education-4th respondent on 04.05.1019, recommending the case of the petitioner for regularization of his services.

Therefore, for the reasons alike, this writ petition can be disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner for regularization if necessary by examining the requirement to formulate a scheme as directed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Secretary, State of Karnataka and Others Vs. Umadevi1 and by also taking into consideration the proposals submitted by the 3rd respondent to the 4th respondent recommending the case of the petitioner for regularization of petitioner's services and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed and a decision to that effect shall be taken as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
