HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.16698 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the respondent No.5 in summoning the petitioners to the police station time and again by extending threats to implicate the petitioners and their family members in false criminal cases at the behest of the 6th respondent.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that the respondent police never interfered with the family disputes much less the dispute of the 1st petitioner herein; and that the respondent police never interfered with the life and liberty of the 1st petitioner or his family members. It is further stated that no complaint was registered by the 6th respondent who is the wife of the 1st petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioners disputes the same and states that the 6th respondent gave a complaint against the petitioners in Mumbai and basing on the same the respondent police herein are harassing the petitioners. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent police not to call the petitioners to

the police station, except in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
