THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION NO.25281 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed for the following relief. "...to issue a writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in rejecting the petitioner's candidature for Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constables (PCs) (Civil) in Police Department in not considering the petitioner's candidature rejecting him on physical measurement overage contrary to clause 15 (B)(a) of Notification Rc.No.151/Rect./Admn.1/2015 dated 31.12.2015 as illegal, arbitrary and violation of principles of natural justice apart from violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently declare that the petitioner is eligible to the said post and to pass such other order..."

Since the matter relates to recruitment for State Service, this Court is not having jurisdiction and the petitioner has to approach the A.P. Administrative Tribunal.

The Writ Petition is dismissed giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the A.P. Administrative Tribunal. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
